Priorities if elected

  • Protecting Union Township, particularly the I-78/173 Corridor, from overdevelopment.
  • Update Union Township Land Use and Zoning Ordinances
  • Developing an action plan to advocate for Union's interests with respect to potential development and/or redevelopment of the Edna Mahon site and other large parcels in the Township where development/redevelopment has the potential to irreparably change Union Township.
  • To keep Union Township a safe, vibrant, rural community including use of radar signage to remind motorists to maintain appropriate speeds while traveling in our community
  • Advocating to enhance the reliability of the electrical service in Union  Township by influencing JCP&L's attention  and prioritization of UT in its Vegetation Management Program, with a goal to reduce the frequency and duration of outages caused by falling trees and limbs during storm events.
  • Reviewing Open Space acquisition goals and implementing Open Space and Recreation plans that foster acquisition of lands consistent with stated goals .
  • Explore 78 Sponsor-A-Highway program and possible Corridor Enhancement Ordinance for 173 and Frontage Road
  • Explore introduction of ordinance requiring residential developers to provide a Winter Weather Management Plan as part of Site Plan application
  • Explore Engine Brake Ordinance for 78 corridor
